COMMUNICATING FOR SUCCESS

In this Link to Life Science | Communicating for Success Workshop you will engage in a hands-on discovery of what it takes to communicate effectively and successfully in your personal and business relationships. Good communication skills are key to success in professional and personal relationships. Without effective communication, a message can turn into misunderstanding or frustration from being misinterpreted or poorly delivered. When you take the time to acquire and hone good communication skills you open yourself up to better intrapersonal relationships, career opportunities, and increased self-confidence.

This two-hour workshop, hosted by Judy Taibi, Founder & CEO of J. Taibi Group LLC - Sandler Training, will provide tips and tools to develop your communication skills, both inside and outside of an organization.

Founder and CEO of the J. Taibi Group, LLC, Judy has over 30 year’s senior level experience in sales, sales training, and management roles in global and regional organizations. While being a persuasive leader across all levels of a firm, Judy is recognized for her ability to identify emerging leaders, develop and motivate employees to excel.

In her positions as senior management, business owner and sales professional, she understands both the challenges and need for relevant, measurable goals to achieve stronger company growth, profitability and consistency in results. Her expertise focuses on invigorating the sales process and sales teams leading to higher revenues and a more energized, healthy work environment.

Having been the keynote speaker at several hundred public events, Judy is recognized as an engaging and compelling presenter delivering actionable content and innovative ideas for client acquisition and team development.

She is a graduate of New York University with a BS degree in finance and history, achieved the Wharton Business School Business CIMA Certification and is Certified in Adult Cognitive Learning, The Human Development Institute.

Judy enjoys volunteering for Junior Achievement of Delaware, mentoring entrepreneurs and is a member of the Women’s Advisory Group and the Financial Women’s Association. Her company participates in the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and Delaware Small Business Chamber. She also is a member of the Advisory Board of Directors for Drone Workforce Solutions.

Registration Policy & No Walk-Ins

The “In Transition” rate is available for first-time attendees seeking employment. If you are still searching for employment after the first BioBreakfast and wish to continue attending, we offer you a discounted rate of $25 to attend. The “Non-Member” rate is in place for those who very occasionally attend our events (no more than two events) or for those who are evaluating whether or not to join Delaware Bio. This is not intended for individuals who attend every event in a series. If you fall into this category, we would ask that you join the organization. Information about membership can be found by contacting us at [email protected]. If you are retired and wish to attend the BioBreakfast, we ask that you join the organization as a member, at our new, discounted retired membership level. Please register with your company email address (if applicable). To respect the security of our event host, we will not allow walk-ins for this event. Please register in advance, as it may fill up quickly. Thank you!

Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing, via email to Yvette Murray at [email protected], more than one (1) week prior to the event to receive a refund minus 25% for registration/administrative costs. If the cancellation is made within one week of the event or the attendee is a no-show, Delaware Bio will not issue a refund.
