Round Table with Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester

On August 12, 2019, Delaware BioScience Association had the distinct honor of hosting Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester at the Bio Dome for a round table discussion with representatives from Delaware Bio member companies. The round table meeting provided an opportunity for the Congresswoman and Delaware Bio member companies to come together to discuss issues facing the life science community.

Congresswoman Blunt Rochester represents the state of Delaware in the U.S. House of Representatives and serves as an Assistant Whip for House Leadership. She currently sits on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce which represents the healthcare sector. “I wanted to be on a committee where I could do the most good for the most Delawareans”, said Congresswoman Blunt Rochester, “when speaking with constituents, I found healthcare to be their greatest concern”.
