Inspired by the scientific discoveries of Dr. Frederick Goetz, the company was initially founded as PSI-TEC Corporation, now known as Lightwave Logic, Inc. The Company has extended and is attempting to commercialize the original research of Dr. Goetz by identifying premiere business opportunities for its nonlinear electro-optical and all-optical polymer portfolio using these patented materials in chips (wafers), optical devices, sub-systems and systems.
