As an Application Engineer focused on LC products and solutions, you will be providing technical sales support for the Americas Field Organization Sales Channels. In addition to participating in the Sales Process, you will be a liaison between the Field and Solutions Unit. Your typical day will include:
Answering solution configuration and upgrade questions through email and phone
Recommending the right solution hardware, software and consumables to meet the customer’s need
Reviewing quotes for accuracy and completeness
Guiding Sales to pertinent information and sales tools
Delivering training to Sales teams relating to your primary instrument and market focus.
Advocating for the Field Sales organization
Qualifications: Qualifications:
BS/MS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a relevant Science field
3+ years laboratory instrument experience, with a preference for customer-facing LC experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic team environment
Excellent verbal, written and phone communications skills
Proficient computer skills; experience in use of database software applications such as SAP, CRM, and Microsoft Office
